Crafted in fine pewter this pendant is is 1" (25 mm) in diameter. It comes on an 18" chain.

This Celtic knot is known as a Quaternary Knot. That means is has four corners or sections. Some of the symbolism that is suggested for this knot are:

The four directions North, South, East, West
The four seasons Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter
The four Gospels in the Book of Kells
The four elements, Earth, Fire, Water, and Air
It is also an emblem of Brigid and her four branches of wisdom, Hand, Hearth, Head, and Heart

All of our products are made with lead-free pewter. The pewter we use is an alloy of tin and copper with a bit of antimony. It doesn't tarnish like silver and is easily brightened up with a light buff of steel wool.
