Celtic St. Brynach's Cross Pewter Pendant
St. Brynach's Cross which is found at St. Brynach's Church at Nevern, a little village tucked away in the valley of the River Nyfer in Wales.
Made with fine pewter this cross is 2" (51 mm) in diameter and comes on a 36-inch black cotton cord.
Pewter is heated to 650 degrees. Once it reaches that temperature the metal is completely liquid. The pewter is then poured into a spinning rubber mold to form the piece. They then go through a vibratory finishing process. Lastly, each one is hand buffed to a warm satin finish. All that is done in Boise Idaho. Stop by and we'll show you how we do it.
