Viking Valknut Necklace

Often called Hrungnir's Heart, after the legendary giant of the Edaas. It is alson known as the knot of the Calin, and it has been found on stone carvings with funerary motifs, possibly a symbol of the afterlife. The nine points are suggestive of the nine worlds and the nine fates of Norse mythology.

Made with fine pewter this Valknut necklace is 1 1/4" (32 mm), and comes on a 36" 2.5mm Adjustable Black Cotton Cord

Pewter is heated to 650 degrees. Once it reaches that temperature the metal is completely liquid. The pewter is then poured into a spinning rubber mold to form the piece. They then go through a vibratory finishing process. Lastly, each one is hand buffed to a warm satin finish. All that is done in Boise Idaho. Stop by and we'll show you how we do it.
